I read this because I have the novel 2032 on my Kindle & figured it would be a good place to begin before getting to that story. This short collection of seven short stories was enough to give me a bit of a feel for the world the author is going to show in the novel & pique my interest enough to make me push the full length work to the top of my reading list. As soon as I'm done with this review, I'm off to begin. The stories I liked most were the one set on Island50 & the last. Both were taut glimpses & darker than I expected (honestly, so was the first story). The second & third in the collection felt a bit random (especially the third with the couple) & were extremely short but were easy reads just the same. I think maybe with more context in the full length novel, I'll be able to have a better read on those.Product details

20327 Days edition by AS Anand Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This exciting introduction into 2032 is well worth reading. Moving at a fast and furious pace throughout, A.S. Anand provides intriguing analysis on the current threats our world faces by looking 20 years ahead into the future. I would also recommend the full version!
I confess, I overlooked these stories, thinking they were going to be a potted version of the full length novel, until a friend set me straight. If you haven't yet read 2032, then this is a great introduction, and if you have, this is a great little extra helping.
And I have to say, this contained the best insult I have ever come across in my life.
"You have the collective attention spans of dried semen."
I am going to memorise that just incase I ever go back into the business world. How I wish I had that up my sleeve at a few meetings that linger in the mind.
This review has to be 20 words long. All I can say is horrible, horrible, horrible and boring, boring, boring. No plot, bad characters and absolutely no reason to ever write this kind of drivel.
2032 is a compilation of seven short stories set in a future dystopia. The stories do not overlap or intertwine - each has its own self contained plot and mini resolution. They were a quick read and did a good job of introducing the reader to an Orwellian state.
I enjoyed each of the shorts, but since I haven't read 2032 the novel, I felt a bit lost as to how they're connected. My only other issue as a reader was that several of the stories began in media res, so I was never sure who the characters were, or what exactly they were doing.
All in all, it was an enjoyable read. The shorts had a surprising amount of emotion in them and effectively thrust me into the middle of the author's dystopian world. It made me want to pick up 2032 the novel and read straight through it, if just to see how everything connects and falls togther.
A solid buy. Four stars.
